Hello, I’m missionary Kim Soyeon serving in Chiang Rai, Thailand. I bring literacy education and the gospel to Akha and Lahu children in the northern mountains.
About this mission
In the mountains near Chiang Rai, northern Thailand, thousands of ethnic minority children live without legal status and with almost no access to education. Many cannot read—one of the greatest barriers to the gospel and lasting change.
This project partners with local churches to offer free literacy in Thai and mother tongues, and to share the gospel where these children live.
Updates
New village learning community begins
A new learning community started in Nakomueng village with 17 children.
Library opening
The small library in Ban Pakun opened. Thanks to donors, 120 books are now on the shelves.
